By Paul Gibbs, Club Chairman.
"PSU United was formed during the Spring of 2004 and entered the Camberley and District Sunday Football League for the 2004/5 season.
Having played together for a number of teams over the years, the new team was formed through the players frustrations with previous managers.
Having not played together as a squad, their manager Nick Holland decided that it would be best enter Division 3 at the beginning of the season. Twice weekly coaching sessions were carried out during the summer by Ian Gillard (Ex England, QPR) and by the start of the season the team were fighting fit. PSU IT Voice and Data had agreed to be our sponsor and moral was high.

PSU United was performing extremely well until around half way through the 2004/5 season when the team started losing games against seemingly easy opposition. To make matters worse, many of the players were starting to pick up injuries. Nick Holland did a brilliant job in the face of adversity, many times having to field teams with players out of position due to lack of availability through injury.was forced to field a team some weeks which had players out of position due to absences caused by injury.
In the end, the hard work and determination paid off as we reached the semi finals of the divisional cup and finished third out of 14 teams. We have been promoted to division 2 and a hard summers training beckons"
